Good Times
We go and visit Megan and the boys at least once a week. We are so lucky to live close and be able to visit so often. She has so many fun places close to her house and when we are feeling adventurous we pack up all three boys and head out for whatever free entertainment we can find. This first picture is of Liberty Park. I had a great video but sadly lost it when I updated my phone. It was a video of Daniels first Ferris Wheel ride. He was so excited when he saw it and wanted to go so bad, Megan got him a ticket and took him on it. He was in Heaven! He kept yelling "I'm not scared mommy!!" and he wasn't. You could just see him poke his head over the bar when he reached the top. He was so happy to be as tall as the trees. I kick myself for loosing that video. We also got to feed the ducks and geese the day before the oil spill polluted the pond. Lucky us. It was a little scary at how friendly they were they had no fear as long as you had bread. At one point we found ourselves completely surrounded and I had a panic moment.
We also took the boys to Temple Square and the Church History Museum. Just in case you didn't already know this the Museum has a great kids exhibit going right now that is totally free and so much fun. Daniel loved it. There were pictures to color, dress-ups, games, stories, he got to make a stain glass window. It was tons of fun.

Megan and I have also found a love for Hatch Family Chocolates. I saw their TV show on TLC The Little Chocolatiers and told Megan we had to go. They really do have such good Chocolate I've been craving it and I'm not even a huge chocolate fan. Daniel also loved the chocolate and talked about it for a long time.

We also make a lot of sugar cookies. Megs has this great recipe that we can't get enough of. Its seriously so yummy with homemade frosting we find ourselves eating them all the time. We have a good time together the 5 of us. Not pictured is our trip to Idaho. We crammed all three car seats in the back of Megs Subaru and drove 3 hours to Burly Idaho to visit our grandma. It was a nice change of scenery and great to visit her. We also have gone swimming at my Aunts pool (thanks Sandi), taken many walks to grandma and grandpas, and just sat around all day. I love Megan and her super cute boys so much. I'm really glad that we have been able to spend so much time helping each other out. I hope for more adventures when we add a little girl to the picture.
