One week...

Today was my last doctors appointment. Yes it was my last because she said she'll put me on the list to be induced on July 6th that is exactly a week away. If it weren't for the 4th of July weekend I could be started on Friday or Monday(lame). So unless I go by myself (which I'm starting to doubt will ever happen) this baby will be here next week. I still hope I go today, right now even would be nice...

Wow..

My blog is updated. In no particular order at all. Sorry I was really behind but now if there was any hidden anxiety in the back of my mind (the way back) about it not being updated that prevented me from going into labor I can be worry free. Let the Labor begin...PLEASE!

Cruise

Ok I've now updated my blog except for pictures from the cruise that David and I took way back in February. Let me tell you that is the way to travel. We LOVED every minute of it. It was just the break we needed and perfect amount of time. We went to Mexico and stopped at three different ports. Seriously if you've never been on a cruise you need to start saving so you can. Its so relaxing and wonderful. You are waited on hand and foot and fed all day every day. Here are some pictures of our trip. Thanks to our wonderful family who took Daniel (who got really sick while we were gone) for the week and let us enjoy the peace a quiet. David went Para sailing, and I enjoyed cheap shopping and the sun. The best way to spend an Anniversary!!Huge sand man

The dessert I got every night

Formal night out on the deck
A scary taxi ride through one of the towns on a cobblestone road with no real lanes
The view off the back of the ship

The beach in Cabo
Our tour guide in Mazatlan. By the way the city didn't have that much to tour so he'd say "look at that license plate its from Mexico city they are the tomato city."or "Look at those flowers aren't they beautiful?" but by far his favorite saying was "don't worry be happy" no lie he said it at least 20 times.
David Para Sailing. No joke they literally came up to us while we were walking on the beach and asked if he wanted to go. He said sure. A man on the beach waved to this little tiny boat being pushed around by waves that drove by and threw a rope tied to a big water jug. Another man on the beach swam out grabbed the robe and tied it to Davids harness. They told him to just run down the beach and he was off. He told me afterward that they didn't even tell him how to land until he was hovering overhead waiting to come down.
The rock behind us is white because of all the birds that go potty on it. One of the important things our tour guide pointed out to us.
Our ship and my 4 month prego belly.

Our water taxi ride in Cabo.
Me loving the sun and David Hiding from it
I wanted to take this man home with me. He made our bed every morning and turned down our covers every night. He even cleaned up our clothes if they were left on the floor. I wanted to just put him in my suitcase.
And the best for last...these two waiters were AMAZING. We found them our second night on the cruise and never ate at a different resturant or table. They took such good care of us. The One with the glasses said "you want two desserts I'll give you two desserts. I take care of you" He was from Portugal and the other is from the Philippines and he was the best at keeping my Sprite refilled. They were super nice and never gave us any dirty looks when we asked for two of something. These guys leave home for 9 months out of the year to support their families to take care of lazy people like me. I love them...

My Birthday

I turned 26 on the 4th of this month. It was a great day. I spent the morning just hanging out with my bestest little buddy. That afternoon my Mother in-law and sister in-laws and David's cousin JoJo and kids, went to the park and had a picnic and let the boys play for a few hours. Daniel loves to play with Milo and Elliot. Later that night we headed up the canyon to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. Daniel loved helping with the fire. He gathered little sticks all night to throw in. David surprised me with a really yummy birthday cake and we made delicious s'mores. That is totally my kind of Birthday just relax and enjoy family. Thanks everyone!!!

The brown family

Clear back in April we went to the Zoo and Daddy got to come with us. Along with Auntie Bryan, Auntie Leigh, Ellison, Tatum, Jojo, Milo, Elliot, Flora and Grandpa. It was freezing cold when we first go there. But we had a great time enjoying the animals and each other. We really love to go to the zoo.

Also we took a weekend trip up to Jackson Hole with all of the Browns except Cale Heather and Bean (I went, I just didn't get any pictures of myself to prove it). Grandma Brown had a conference and was busy all weekend while we played. We spent one afternoon in Yellowstone and arrived at Old Faithful just as it erupted had yummy ice cream and saw lots of buffalo. They came super close to the car and Daniel loved it. The adventurous ones also spent one day river rafting but being 7 months prego and with snow still on parts of the bank there was no way I was going so Daniel and I took a long afternoon nap and played at a nearby park. We had the best food while there. We ate at this little pizza place and a Mexican place that had the best burritos I've ever had. Good food and good company!!!

Good Times

We go and visit Megan and the boys at least once a week. We are so lucky to live close and be able to visit so often. She has so many fun places close to her house and when we are feeling adventurous we pack up all three boys and head out for whatever free entertainment we can find. This first picture is of Liberty Park. I had a great video but sadly lost it when I updated my phone. It was a video of Daniels first Ferris Wheel ride. He was so excited when he saw it and wanted to go so bad, Megan got him a ticket and took him on it. He was in Heaven! He kept yelling "I'm not scared mommy!!" and he wasn't. You could just see him poke his head over the bar when he reached the top. He was so happy to be as tall as the trees. I kick myself for loosing that video. We also got to feed the ducks and geese the day before the oil spill polluted the pond. Lucky us. It was a little scary at how friendly they were they had no fear as long as you had bread. At one point we found ourselves completely surrounded and I had a panic moment. We also took the boys to Temple Square and the Church History Museum. Just in case you didn't already know this the Museum has a great kids exhibit going right now that is totally free and so much fun. Daniel loved it. There were pictures to color, dress-ups, games, stories, he got to make a stain glass window. It was tons of fun.

Megan and I have also found a love for Hatch Family Chocolates. I saw their TV show on TLC The Little Chocolatiers and told Megan we had to go. They really do have such good Chocolate I've been craving it and I'm not even a huge chocolate fan. Daniel also loved the chocolate and talked about it for a long time.

We also make a lot of sugar cookies. Megs has this great recipe that we can't get enough of. Its seriously so yummy with homemade frosting we find ourselves eating them all the time. We have a good time together the 5 of us. Not pictured is our trip to Idaho. We crammed all three car seats in the back of Megs Subaru and drove 3 hours to Burly Idaho to visit our grandma. It was a nice change of scenery and great to visit her. We also have gone swimming at my Aunts pool (thanks Sandi), taken many walks to grandma and grandpas, and just sat around all day. I love Megan and her super cute boys so much. I'm really glad that we have been able to spend so much time helping each other out. I hope for more adventures when we add a little girl to the picture.

The end is near...

I just don't know if it's near enough. I have 1 week and 5 days till my due date. I'm fat, swollen, emotional (really emotional), and super tired. I don't know how much longer I can do this. I have a doctors appointment in the morning and I'm praying she says I'm ready and I don't have to drive home, but straight to the hospital. I think I'm just going to break down and cry in hopes that she will have pity on me and induce my labor. All that could be missed if I just go into labor right now. Its not that much to ask is it? I don't think it is. But until that "blissful" moment I have this little guy to keep me busy and somewhat distracted.

3 weeks...

I can't believe that it has been 3 weeks since my last post. I'm always on blogs but rarely take the time to update my own. Not that I have much to say or people want to read it but its a good way to keep memories.

The baby is still super active. She is always kicking and moving, which is great because I panic if I can't remember when she last moved. So I just give her a nice nudge and she does it right back. As far as we know she is perfectly healthy I'm measuring right on and have started my weekly visits. I haven't gained that much weight yet. I keep waiting for the visit I step on the scale and am passed 180. So far so good. We have yet to decide on a name for her. Originally it was Dayvie but we've since changed our minds. Baby naming is extremely hard for me, I feel a lot of pressure.

Daniel is growing up right before our eyes. He has turned into quite the bossy little boy and loves to tell people what they can or can't do and how to do it. We are working on him using please so he is a nice bossy person but I realized today that maybe I need to work on saying please too. I think I tell him what to do more often without a please then with. So Please is the word for the week. He has also been super cuddly with me these past few weeks. I'm pretty sure he knows there is a big change coming and that he won't get 100% of my attention so he's stocking up now. I don't mind it, I love his cuddles especially in the mornings when he comes and gets in my bed and lays as close to me as he possibly can. We are doing great with potty training as long as I remember to take him. He's been out of diapers for 3 weeks but in pull-ups and we occasionally are able to do the underwear all day(not during nap time, I made that mistake once and won't do it again). He loves to be outside and now that its getting warmer I try to take me out more. Its been super crazy weather here in Utah with nice mornings and freezing afternoons or freezing mornings and hot afternoons. We haven't hit the ridiculously hot weather yet except for just a few days. We started swim lessons and he is doing great, actually it really depends on the day today was freezing and he wasn't real excited to be in the water but he is getting more brave. Oh and probably one of the cutest things ever is when Daniel sits on my lap and tells his sister a story or sings her a song. Today it was a song that he made up and afterward he lifted up my shirt and kissed my belly and gave it a hug. I hope he loves her as much when she is actually here. Our family is doing great. We are so blessed and excited to go from 3 to 4 and can't wait to meet our new little addition. Sorry this is a long boring post.
I asked him what he was doing and he said "Mogley puts a Banana on his head(from The Jungle Book)
"Mom I'm Pumping!"
Look at the perfect blue to gray color scale he made with his crayons
Hanging out in the washing machine
Making his fort
