Yellowstone Round 2
We went to Yellowstone again (We went with the Brown family back in May to Jackson Hole/Yellowstone I being very prego wasn't in any pictures and didn't take very many pictures). This time we entered through West Yellowstone because my grandma got us a cabin for the week in Island park. I wasn't sure how it would be taking a 3 week old baby and a 2 1/2 year old in the car for 5 hours but it worked great. My mom, grandma, aunt, cousin and sisters and of course the life saving Jake, were up there to help and made it a great vacation. Daniel had the best time and said all he wanted to see was: A horse, a Buffalo, a bear and Jake (no bear). Maggie didn't get sick (which I was so afraid of, but I did) and did such a great job sitting in her car seat most of the trip.
Headed to Yellowstone hoping to see

We saw Old Faithful
Uncle Jake and Daniel
Aunt Pattie(also known as Grandma Pattie) and Cousin Annie(who will soon be leaving for college)
Maggie did a lot of sleeping
But was excited to see the animals
Daniel with a family of Buffalo in the background. There were two little babies so cute!
I had to feed and change Maggie so Grandma and Jake went on a hike to a waterfall. After they got back the informed me it was a designed with a two year old in mind.
Daniel swinging on the swings at the Cabin
This is the Cabin I've been going to since I was Daniels age. Its nothing spectacular but full of great memories especially of my grandpa Dan, who we named Daniel after. He loved to take us up to the cabin it was his escape from his busy life. His spirit is everywhere there.
On the way home we stopped at Bear world so Daniel and Jake could see a real bear. We saw lots of them walking around and one even came right up to Daniels window. They have rides at the gift shop and we rod every one. We had a great time and were more then happy to get home after an extra long drive home.

The Highlight of the trip for me...

While we were waiting for Old Faithful to go off Daniel found some little Asian friends playing in the dirt making hills. He walked over to then and just started playing with them. They didn't speak any English but it didn't phase Daniel at all. He just got right down there and did what they did and at times even tried to say whatever they had said in there native language. When we were leaving he turned and shouted "Bocho" with a big smile on his face. The little girl looked at him like what the heck is he saying. Daniel took that as he had said the right word and again this time waving good-bye shouted "Bocho". He walked away with a big smile on his face telling us about his new friends. I had to save the best for last

My Sweetheart...
I was in the other room checking something on the computer while Daniel was playing with play-dough. He came in from the kitchen and said "mom my sweetheart won't move." I said "your sweetheart?" "yea mom, I need my red thing and my sweetheart won't move." I was curious and had no clue what he was talking about so I asked him to show me. I followed him into the kitchen and he said "see mom my sweetheart won't move." and he pointed to little Maggie asleep in her bouncer chair. "Daniel, Maggie is your sweetheart?" "yea mom". MELTED my heart, what a cute big brother!!!!.JPG)
One Month
Maggie is officially one month old. She is the best baby I couldn't imagine a better baby. She is even starting to sleep through the night. Last night she went to bed at 10:30 and didn't wake up until 5:30.

Big Brother & Baby Sister
People keep asking if Maggie looks the same as Daniel did. I'll let you be the judge. I'm the mommy that stares at them all day so they look different to me.

Mornings...
This is what happens most mornings. Now that Maggie is here things are a little different, I have a little more room.
Chubby?
Daniel got chubby so fast. I wonder if little Maggie will go from skinny to mildly obese as fast as Daniel did. Don't believe me? Here is the picture proof of my child's quick change...

Our new addition...
She is here and I can't believe that a week has gone by. Maggie Ann Brown was born at 8:52 on July 6th. She weighed in at 7lbs 14oz and is 20 1/2 inches long. Maggie truly is the sweetest baby. You can just feel her sweet spirit and I love it. She has changed our family we absolutely adore her.
