Mardi Gras is a CRAZY time down here. We really enjoy our parades! This year we went to a total of 3 parades. It paid off with a lot of beads and a lot of "prizes"(JUNK).The first one we went we were FREEZING! We were all bundled up in our winter gear and still froze. My Aunt Lisa brought her kids down and we all went together to our second one. It was pouring rain. At one point Daniel stepped in a puddle and got wet up to his thighs but we being crazy parents pushed onward. Several times we asked ourselves what we were doing but we just kept walking the 8 blocks from our car. By the time we got to our spot we were all soaked to the bone and we only lasted 30mins before turning around and going home. Our 3rd one was a much warmer and a lot of fun. Its times like these that we really love living here fully experiencing the culture. If you are ever in New Orleans find during Mardi Gras find a family parade they are well worth it. Most of the pictures are just from our first one but I'll try and get the others loaded.

Congratulations on the growth you have experienced. I think that it's hard to move away from family but so good for us as well.
