Daniel had the unique opportunity to visit with his Great Grandma & Grandpa Wilson this past month. Great Grandpa Wilson is 87 years old and has lost his short term memory. He doesn't always know who you are and never remembers you were there the next day, but is always excited
to have you stop and visit. When we were up there last he had the opportunity to hold Daniel, one I prayed for so many times while I was pregnant with Daniel. I just wanted Grandpa to be able to hold him and to get a picture of them together. This is one of several along with video I was able to get. It was so emotional for me. Here were two people on complete opposite ends of life's cycle. Daniel new and fresh from his Father in Heaven, and Grandpa waiting to return, their paths crossing for just a minute. Daniel LOVED sitting in Great Grandpas lap. It was as if he already knew him. He sat so content just looking up into his face. Great Grandpa even made up a song to sing for him. Great Grandma also loved baby Daniel and he loved her. She held him and adored him. It was a priceless memory that I will always treasure.
